Post Project

How do I post a Project?

To simply crowdsource your creative needs, visit the "Community" tab and post a LimeStand project. Please click the "Post Project" link in the LimeStand section under the "Community" tab that helps you post a LimeStand (crowdsourced) project. Please select a category and a sub-category for your creative project and specify the following details:

Title:
Provide an appropriate title that describes your creative needs effectively.

Description: Provide an elaborate description for your project. This will help the designers to better understand your needs and make quality submissions. If possible provide examples or references to illustrate your work.

Preferences: You can set the following preferences:
  • Allow Submissions For: Choose the number of days for which you wish the project to receive submission entries from designers. This cannot be less than 7 days if you are making payment using a new credit card/PayPal account that is not yet verified by LimeExchange.
  • Amount: Specify the amount of the project that you are posting. You would be asked to make the payment in the second step of project posting. The minimum amount for which you can post a project varies with the category and the sub-category that you choose.
  • Format for Final Submission: Specify the format in which you want the final deliverables/source files from the selected designer.
  • Additional File Formats: Specify any additional formats for the final submission.
  • Final Submission Required in: Specify the number of days within which the designer has to provide the source files after his submission is selected.
  • Who Can View: This option allows you to restrict your project visibility. Select the “Only Logged in Users” option to prevent your project from being visible to non-logged in users and Search Engines.
  • 1099 Tax Form: Opt for our 1099 Tax Form service if you want us to comply with 1099 tax requirements on your behalf. For more information on 1099, please see the Help for 1099 Service.

Accept the Terms of Service Agreement to proceed to the second step - making the payment for the project.

Payment for LimeStand projects

Keeping in view the interests of the Buyers as well as the Designers, we require a LimeStand project to be escrowed at the time of posting. This way a fair play can be ensured to everyone involved.

If you get less than 10 entries, the amount will be refunded. Designers are assured of the payment if their deliverables are accepted.

You can make payment for LimeStand projects using:

  • Any credit card
  • Any PayPal account, or
  • Wallet

We suggest you to prefer using a credit card or PayPal account that has been verified by LimeExchange for making the project payment. However, for your convenience, you can also use a new credit card/PayPal account that has not been verified by LimeExchange.

Payment by unverified credit card/PayPal account

Please note that if you make payment using a new credit card/PayPal account that has not been verified by LimeExchange, you must get it verified within 7 days of making the payment. Non-verification of a new credit card/PayPal beyond the stipulated time will lead to cancellation of your project. If a project is cancelled this way, we will refund your project amount after deducting our fee.

Getting a credit card/PayPal account verified is a simple process and is free of cost! For more details on verification, please visit our 'General' Help section.

Please note that a new credit card/PayPal account that has not been verified by LimeExchange can be used to make payment for a LimeStand project only if the project amount is up to US $500. For making payment of more than US $500, you can use your wallet or a verified credit card/PayPal account.

Funding your wallet

You can fund your wallet via Bank or Wire Transfer. Please note that the wallet option will be available at the time of payment only when there are sufficient funds to make the payment. Your bank will need some information to transfer the funds. Click here to find the information and provide it to your bank.

Minimum project amount

The minimum amount for which you can post a project varies with the category and the sub-category that you choose.

What happens after I post a project?

Designers will look at your project and make submissions. You can view submissions from various designers under the Showcase section on the projects detail page. For each submission you can:
