Profile
On the top right side of your profile, there is a "Hide My Profile" link. This link is available only to those users who are on paid membership plans (Individual/Pro/Vantage). Click on this link to hide your profile from search engines and non logged-in users.
Once you hide your profile, a "Make My Profile Public" link will be visible to you. You can again make your profile public (i.e., accessible to search engines and non logged-in users) any time you wish. Please note that your profile will automatically become public on the expiry of your paid membership plan.

This link can be used to edit user's name, address, LimeExchange behavior and categories (if user is a service provider).
- LimeExchange Behavior: Every user has a specific
behavior on LimeExchange. A user can be a service provider or a buyer
or may be engaged in both these activities. Depending upon the behavior
on LimeExchange, a user can choose any one of these options.

- Profile Type: LimeExchange supports two types of profiles, "Individual" for freelancers and "Business" for small businesses. In case you represent an organization or a business, choose your "Profile Type" as "Business." If you select your profile type as "Business" then you can add two more details to your profile regarding the year in which your organization was founded and the number of employees in your organization.
- Overview: This section enables a LimeExchange user
to reveal personal information. There are several things that a user
can mention here to enhance the profile like Name or Company Name,
City, Country, LimeExchange Behavior, Category and English Fluency.
Users can also provide information on their certifications,
qualification, work experience and skill set. Your Profile Rank is
displayed on this page. To view your Category Rank, select any category
from the drop down and see your corresponding rank.

The features included in "Overview" section are explained below:- Qualification: Click on "Add Qualification" and
enter the name of the "School/University", name of the "Degree", major
"Field of Study" and the "Dates Attended". You can add as many
educational qualifications as you have and can also get them verified
by an independent and trusted agency - Justifacts. Once verified, your
educational qualification will have a Verified icon as shown above. To

- Certifications: Click on "Add Certifications" and enter the name of the "Certification", the issuing "Institute" and the year in which it was attended/awarded.
- Work Experience: Click on "Add Work Experience" and enter the name of the "Company", "Designation", and "Period".
- Skill Set: Click on "Add Skill Set" and enter your skill set details, which may include name of the skill (Example: Corporate Blogging, Wordpress Theme Development, Java, Ruby on Rails, etc.), experience, and self assessment of your skill. User can add multiple skills to your profile. To hold a better place in the search results of the buyer, it is important for a service provider to specify all skills on his profile.
- Qualification: Click on "Add Qualification" and
enter the name of the "School/University", name of the "Degree", major
"Field of Study" and the "Dates Attended". You can add as many

- Resume: This section is applicable only to those users who have selected their profile type as "Individual." Individual users can put their resume (in text form) in this section by clicking the "Add" button.

- Company: This section is applicable only to those users who have selected their profile type as “Business.” In this section, a user can provide company details like infrastructure of the organization and the particulars of the team members. Photographs of individual team members can also be uploaded.

- Portfolio: In this section, User can upload their
best work samples. A good portfolio helps in attracting potential
buyers and is a critical factor in getting projects.
To add work samples to Portfolio, click "Add", enter the name, description and upload any non executable file up to 10MB. The file may contain an image, audio or video. It could be your own work (in case of graphic design) or a screen shot of your past work. User can add multiple items. - Activity: This section shows the user's recent
activities on LimeExchange in chronological order.
- Connections: This section alphabetically lists the people to whom a user is connected. Connections include people for whom a user has worked for; people whom a user has given work to, and his direct friends.
- Feedback: This section shows the feedback received from providers/buyers on the past projects. This is a non-editable feature and user cannot change it. This section describes the quality of the users work. Good Feedback plays an important role for providers in getting projects and helps buyers to select a good provider for their projects.
- Recommendation: This section shows the recommendations that a user has received from other people on LimeExchange. A user can also request recommendations from Buyers or Service Providers who are either his favorite providers or in the connections list. Those recommendations that are approved by a user are displayed in this section of the user's profile. Service Provider's profile with good recommendations stands a better chance of getting a project.
- Profile Image: User can add his photograph in this section with a maximum size of 10 MB. If the user is a business entity, an image of the company can be added.
- Profile Video: This section can be used to link your YouTube video. You can add your favorite YouTube video and share it with LimeExchange users.
SEO Tags
SEO tags are special keywords that you can display on your profile page to increase the visibility of your profile. If you are on any paid membership plan (Individual/Pro/Vantage), you can display up to 10 SEO tags on your profile page.
Display or Edit SEO Tags
Please visit your profile page and click the ‘Edit’ button on the SEO Tags widget as shown below:

Select the SEO tags that you want to display. If you wish, you can also remove the already selected SEO tags. SEO tags are made available to you on the basis of your name, country, working categories and skill tests taken. If you want additional SEO tags, please update your profile with more categories or take more skill tests.

Finally, when you save the selected SEO tags, your profile starts displaying them as shown below:

Profile Completeness
Your profile page displays a widget showing the percentage completeness of your profile. It also provides you with the "Recommended Actions" to help you complete your profile.

It is advisable that you maintain your profile completeness at 100% to increase the possibility of getting a project and to ensure that the buyer gets the complete information about you or your organization by viewing your profile.
