LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®

LimeExchange offers Prepaid MasterCard®, an additional mode of withdrawal in partnership with Payoneer. It is a faster, safer, as well as a cost effective mode of withdrawing funds from LimeExchange.

The funds can be directly credited to your LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard® and you can use the card like a debit card anywhere a MasterCard® is accepted. Additionally, you can also use this card to withdraw funds at any ATM that contains the MasterCard® symbol. You do not require a bank account to get this card.

The registration for this card must be initiated from LimeExchange in order for you to later withdraw funds into your new Prepaid MasterCard®. The minimum amount that you can withdraw to your LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard® is 25 USD.

Steps to register for a LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®

  • Log In to your LimeExchange account. Go to the 'Payments --> Payment Modes' tab.
  • Select the ‘Prepaid MasterCard’ tab.



  • Click the link to get your LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard. You will be directed to the Payoneer web site where you can fill in the details and register to get a LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®.
  • If you already own a Prepaid MasterCard® from Payoneer, you will be able to simply assign your existing card to LimeExchange. On the registration page at the Payoneer website, there is a section ‘If you already own a Prepaid MasterCard® from Payoneer, Click Here'. Click that section, provide your card details and username and password of your existing Payoneer account.
  • Once you have registered, you will be directed back to LimeExchange. Card applications are approved, fulfilled and shipped within 4 business days from registration. Cards are shipped via standard mail (there is no additional cost for shipping, it is included in the activation fee). Within the US, cards are received within 5-7 days. Outside of the US, it may take up to 25 days to arrive.
  • If you have not received your card, you can contact Payoneer customer support and you will be issued a new card at no extra cost.

Activating LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®
To activate your LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard®, click the ‘Activate your card’ link on the Payoneer homepage. Follow the procedure and get your card activated. It will be then ready to be loaded with your LimeExchange earnings.

LimeExchange Prepaid MasterCard® - Pricing
LimeExchange does not charge any fee for withdrawing funds through Prepaid MasterCard®. However, the fees charged by Payoneer for different services shall be borne by you. Presently, the Payoneer fee structure is as given below:

Activation fee - This is a one-time fee that is charged when card is first loaded.
  • Activation fee (US) - $9.95
  • Activation fee (Non US) - $19.95

Loading fee - This fee is charged whenever you load your card.
  • Standard (Loading within 3 business days) - $2.00
  • Immediate (Loading within 2 hours) - $5.00

Monthly fee - Monthly fee is taken out of available balance only and does not accumulate from month to month. That is, if a card has no balance for several months, monthly fee will not be charged.
  • >5 transactions/month - $1.00
  • 1-5 transactions/month - $3.00

ATM and other charges
  • Point of Sale (POS) purchase - No Charge
  • ATM withdrawal (US) - $1.35
  • ATM withdrawal (Non US) - $2.15
  • Declined ATM withdrawal - $0.90
  • Balance inquiry online/support - No charge
  • Balance inquiry at ATM - $0.90

Deactivation/Cancellation of your Prepaid MasterCard® - If you want to deactivate/cancel your Prepaid MasterCard®, you need to contact Payoneer Customer Support. Alternatively, you can just stop using your card. In this case, the card remains at a zero balance and you will not be responsible for any maintenance fee/monthly fee until funds are loaded on to the card again.
