Credit Card Verification

Getting your credit card verified:
  • Credit card verification is a simple process. You will not incur any cost for verification.
  • LimeExchange charges two small amounts on your credit card (to be refunded in full) for verification purposes. The refund is made immediately after verification or within 10 days, whichever is earlier. However, it may take up to 2-3 weeks for your credit card statement to reflect this refund transaction.
  • LimeExchange refunds the full amount within 10 days whether your credit card verification is successful or not.   
Here is how you can get your credit card verified:
  • Log in to your LimeExchange account. Go to the 'Payments --> Payment Modes' tab.
  • Select the ‘Credit Cards’ tab. Click the link to submit your credit card details for verification. Remember, we do not store your credit card number except for the last four digits.
                   
  • LimeExchange will immediately charge two small amounts on your credit card (without storing your credit card number).
  • Please check with your credit card provider or access online banking to retrieve the exact amounts of these two charges made by LimeExchange. It may take few days for transaction amounts to appear on your credit card statement.
  • Revisit LimeExchange. Go to the 'Payments --> Payment Modes' tab. Select the 'Credit Cards' tab. You will see your credit card summary along with the 'Enter Transaction Amounts' link.
  • Click the ‘Enter Transaction Amounts’ link.

  • Enter the exact amounts of the two transactions in the space provided and submit them. If the transaction amounts are correct, your credit card would be immediately verified. You should enter the same amounts as shown on your credit card statement even if those amounts are in currency other than USD.
  • You have three attempts to enter the correct transaction amounts. If you enter incorrect transaction amounts for three times, your credit card account will be deleted, and you will have to start the verification process from the beginning.
  • If you want to add multiple credit cards to your LimeExchange account, please repeat the above process for each of them.
Adding multiple credit cards
You can get more than one credit card verified from LimeExchange if you wish to use multiple credit cards while making payments.

To add more credit cards, repeat the above steps as mentioned under the heading ‘Getting your credit card verified.

Making payment using the credit card of your choice
Every time you make payment, you get an option to select the credit card that you wish to use.
